At this time around, especially those who are coming to the UK might already found your accommodation through agents or the university. But for those who are still looking & want to stay in private accommodation, you can try searching in facebook groups for freshies for the new term. If you don't find any adverts you can always advertise yourself looking for rooms/house to let. I'm sure there should be plenty out there. Good luck in your search. May you find a good home. I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for all of you for your support and comments/opinions  and have been corresponding all this while.. I'm still here in Manchester working on my dissertation. My journey is far from over - still struggling with literature review, research methods, theoretical framework bla bla bla.. sigh... wish me luck guys and for those who are applying this year good luck for your interview.
